Can you help us build Balderstone's new classroom?
Balderstone St Leonard's Church of England Primary and Pre-School is a voluntary aided school, set in a beautiful Victorian building next to Balderstone St Leonard's Church in the Ribble Valley. We have 113 wonderful children on roll, many of who travel in from central Blackburn.
During the pandemic, the restrictions of our historic building have meant that we have had to place classes of children off-site and away from the heart of our school.
Blackburn Diocese have now agreed to build a classroom extension for our school, together with some internal work which will allow for better use of the hall for PE and community events. This will benefit all the children and will make a huge difference.
However, we need to fund 10% of the cost ourselves and £27,000 is a very large amount of money for a small primary school to find. With our usual school fundraising events restricted due to COVID-19, we need your help more than ever to raise this money.
We know we have brilliant parents and a very supportive local community, all of who enjoy being part of our school family. Please support us and give generously if you can. Every donation, big or small, will help.
